ELEV8 STUDIOS is led by industry professionals from the full spectrum of dance and theatre arts. This enables us to offer the widest range of class options throughout our Dance Academy. From 'Illumin8 at ELEV8' to Silver Swans & everything in between, there really is something for everyone!
We are excited to make the move into our new premises, fully equipped dance studios early in the New Year of 2024! From the early years of Brocklesby Academy of Dance, we had our first studios in town centre back in 2019, then re-locating to temporary premises after the pandemic, we are excited for our new forever home! our school maintains a friendly, family ethos and having our own premises gives students a real sense of ownership and community. Located on Kimbolton Road, the new studio's are easily accessible from all areas of town.
ELEV8 STUDIOS DANCE ACADEMY teachers are registered with the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and International Dance Teachers Association, enabling them to offer examinations in RAD Ballet & ISTD Modern, Tap & Greek, LAMDA Speech & Drama. Angela & Sarah were amongst the first teachers in the UK to train and become certified teachers with Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique. Additional classes include Commercial Dance, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Lyrical Dance.
We have regular performance opportunities in regional and national venues. Our bi-anual showcase at The Venue, MK gives all students the opportunity and experience of performing in a fully operational working theatre and our next show will be in May 2024!
ELEV8 students have the option to take exams or maybe join our comp team if they are looking to take dance as a vocation. The mix of students we have who love dance as a hobby or wish to pursue it more seriously is the perfect blend. The ECP team compete regularly at All England Dance and have recently taken home gold & silver medals from the finals at the Hackney Empire in London. Our students were selected to join Team England in the 2017,19,20,21,22 & 23 International Dance World Cup! Despite a difficult year, in 2021 a whopping 40 students qualified for Team England and came home as World Champions, winning an amazing 14 Medals for England!

We have a long standing relationship with Bedford Greenacre Independent and are privileged to work closely with the school. Our ethos aligns perfectly with BGI; Individual - Potential - Unleashed. All children and adults from across the county are welcome at ELEV8, with the support of BGI, anything is possible! Together, let's make dreams a reality.

At ELEV8, our team members are all experts in their field and passionate about sharing their knowledge with our students.
Dance bodies we are qualified with include: Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, International Dance Teachers Association, Acrobatic Arts, Progressing Ballet Technique, Silver Swans, DDMIX, LAMDA, The Dang... the list goes on!
EXPLORECLASSES
At ELEV8 we offer a large selection of classes in varying styles and your child can do as many or as few lessons as they choose. We encourage all new pupils to try as many subjects as possible, with FREE TRIAL classes, it means they can have a go at anything or everything! We enjoy sharing these lovely photo's and precious memories. Dance is a safe place, away from school and outside influences to be with your dance family. Where dreams become reality and reality fades away in the joy of movement.
TERMDATES&PRICES
Our prices are extremely competitive and there is a package available to suit every budget!

We run our terms alongside Bedfordshire schools for 10 - 11 weeks.
Classes are invoiced on a half termly basis (5 or 6 weeks) an payable in advance. Every prospective student is welcome to come along to free trial classes before they decide what they would like to sign up to!

OURFACILITIES
We started our journey with our very own studios in Bedford Town Centre - we have expanded and have just completed the process of renovating our new forever home!

Our lovely new studio space, The Coach House, is situated in the grounds of Walmsley House on Kimbolton Road, Bedford. We are thrilled to be working closely with BGI and our dance family love our new home! Check out our little video tour of the three fully equipped dance studios and three chill out rooms.

Elev8 Studios Dance Academy have the most dedicated teachers you’ll find anywhere! I think they even teach in their sleep. They care so passionately about every dancer that comes through their doors; from those who are 17 and well on their way to becoming professional, to the delightful 3 and 4 year olds who are just discovering dance for the first time. My son joined in 2017. It’s not easy being a boy who thinks he might like dance. But all the pupils are very welcoming and the teaching is inclusive. We’re so happy we chose ELEV8 Studios as our ‘dance family’. The teachers have encouraged my son so much, and he’s really progressing in a way I truly believe he wouldn’t have anywhere else.
